It covers nearly all the material that could pop up on the test, often including questions quite a bit more difficult than what actually made it on the one I took. Either way, very well written, lots of practice, great customer service. One important note is that while most advanced questions have detailed answer explanations, this book will not teach you Chemistry from scratch. It serves to refresh the memory and possibly introduce a few concepts, but you must know the basics. In the end, I highly recommended this study tool as a definite score booster! It is a big waste of time going through this book as a lot of time goes in understanding concepts which are of higher difficulty and level than that needed for the test. It is fine if you have a love for the subject and want it to improve your overall knowledge of Chemistry. Those who are using this workbook with the specific goal of acing the test will be disappointed after taking the test when they realize that the questions in the book are no way close to those on the test. The questions in this book were far easier than the real test. The critical True/False/CE question type is missing from the book. Save your time and money on something else. I recommed this book for gen chem. Be sure to read the explanations, as my teacher told me, and it works great. Test scores are much better since i practice problems before the exams. Explanations were detailed and complete. I really improved my score and understanding of chemistry concepts. Book is the same content as the SAT chemistry subject test. Both books are great because they have detailed explanations. Practing problems is the key to learning both chemistry and physics. Here I am getting the practice that I need. Explanations are packed with very valuable information. I like the number and variety of topics. The chapters are great to practice discrete concepts which I have been using along with my class.
